Conduct polymer flow simulation, part optimization, etc. with moldflow MPI and other software. Validate hot runner designs in cojunction with part filling analysis. Consult customers and sales force on optimized part design and mold designs to improve manufacturablity with the objective to bring quality parts to market faster. Present results occasionally to customers in person. Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability: (Essential tasks or functions that are fundamental to the job) - Quote, conduct, consult and manage Moldflow studies for customer projects.
- Specific analysis/consulting tasks include: Optimize gating locations, balance melt channels, predict weld line locations, validate pressure drop, predict injection rates, packing time and profiles,9 o- e) m! f M( N

- Present results of analysis studies to sales force, customers and factory either as a presentation or as a report. Some results may be presented at the customer site.
- Available as a technical support resource to the Flow Simulation Teams in US and Europe.
- Support marketing efforts to promote our flow simulation capabiltities.
