Overview This lesson demonstrates the report generation capabilities of Wiring. Lesson 10A - Connection List Reports | Choose all entries of the connection list. | | From the MB3 pop up menu, choose List. - The list is written to the info window according to the Full display format.

| | Choose Status from the MB3 pop-up menu. Notice the report contents. | | Select the first connection from the Connection List. Choose Stock Report under MB3. Choose some of the fields in the list box at the top of the dialog and choose Add. - This adds these characteristics to the list of those to be displayed in the report.

Now choose Apply to generate the stock report in the information window for the selected connection. Choose Cancel to exit the Stock Report dialog. |

Below is a typical single Port Report. This one is for CONN_A in the tutorial assembly. For each port on the connector, the report shows the wire connected to it and the connector the wire is going to. Notice that two of the ports are not used (E and G) and that one of the ports (D) has two wires going to it (which may or may not be an error in the connection list). NOTE: In the Port Report, the selected component is always considered the FROM component, whether it is designated that way in the connection list or not. End of Lesson 10. |
