我若能说万人的方言,并会天使的话语却没有爱,我就成了呜的锣,响的钹一般。

我若有先知讲道之能,也明白各样的奥秘,各样的知识。而且有全备的信,叫我能够移山,却没有爱,我就算不得什么。
8 u( R% V* e* i& S; XAnd thoUGh I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; ) I2 t$ T# i. t* e6 B

不喜欢不义。只喜欢真理。" s; i" B0 D/ Q8 t& H( E! S6 s- d
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

爱是永不止息。先知讲道之能,终必归于无有。说方言之能,终必停止,知识也终必归于无有。
