1. Create a helix by HELIX command (three important parameter: number of turns, pitch and radius). g( T# n$ m: B0 H
2. Then make a sketch at the start of helix( triangle,rectangle or trapezoid)
% f G' N8 d; V6 c5 w0 a3. Use the SWEPT comand to create the thread, helix is the guide curve and the sketch you created in step 2 is the section. the orientation method must be ” Vector Direction“ and the ZC Axis is the Vector.
