It is simple, You can build a special thread in UG, just using the HELIX and SWEPT command" s* A8 W/ s% I1 v) e4 }
1. Create a helix by HELIX command (three important parameter: number of turns, pitch and radius)2 }6 M5 J9 n) E) U! d% m8 j
2. Then make a sketch at the start of helix( triangle,rectangle or trapezoid)
% o- [ q Z; v' B3. Use the SWEPT comand to create the thread, helix is the guide curve and the sketch you created in step 2 is the section. the orientation method must be ” Vector Direction“ and the ZC Axis is the Vector.$ D$ F. d# s2 ^4 v2 ]% w" L4 S

Rotate the single thread 180 degree you can get a double thread, rotate the thread 120 degree twice you can get a triple thread.& G4 L" P$ T9 |0 H8 J8 Y
