, |1 C) K, f6 j" vIt is simple, You can build a special thread in UG, just using the HELIX and SWEPT command
' x& x: Q. h) i3 a7 m9 q1. Create a helix by HELIX command (three important parameter: number of turns, pitch and radius)1 L8 U8 z2 v$ J) L
2. Then make a sketch at the start of helix( triangle,rectangle or trapezoid), y: d3 M; j; K6 g( E& `
3. Use the SWEPT comand to create the thread, helix is the guide curve and the sketch you created in step 2 is the section. the orientation method must be ” Vector Direction“ and the ZC Axis is the Vector.5 P( x2 m! @3 b: S
' w; t+ x7 m% U) ]0 S* {( cRotate the single thread 180 degree you can get a double thread, rotate the thread 120 degree twice you can get a triple thread.
