, E. L8 g% m$ }$ o$ _( S% D, `: sIt is simple, You can build a special thread in UG, just using the HELIX and SWEPT command
1. Create a helix by HELIX command (three important parameter: number of turns, pitch and radius)
2. Then make a sketch at the start of helix( triangle,rectangle or trapezoid)
% f  G' N8 d; V6 c5 w0 a3. Use the SWEPT comand to create the thread, helix is the guide curve and the sketch you created in step 2 is the section. the orientation method must be ” Vector Direction“ and the ZC Axis is the Vector.

' R+ A0 ~5 U% a# k* e2 WRotate the single thread 180 degree you can get a double thread, rotate the thread 120 degree twice you can get a triple thread.

Ahaha,i am so happy that someone can reply to me.so thank u a million Keng.
5 @' }% B: Q, s+ jAccording as the method that u provided,i can handle with this problem .
Even though i knew a little how 2 get a complex thread with this tow Commands before.

/ [/ ~' b" v1 j6 e) Q: M6 x9 @. \Actually I am still curious how 2 get a standerd triple thread with THREAD command in
just only one or two steps.Maybe it doesn't be done in UG.If u know,plz let me know,thx.
