It is simple, You can build a special thread in UG, just using the HELIX and SWEPT command" P- r; s% A. Z. Q4 U
1. Create a helix by HELIX command (three important parameter: number of turns, pitch and radius)/ ?1 K4 t& A( F9 L
2. Then make a sketch at the start of helix( triangle,rectangle or trapezoid)
1 V3 L9 g3 C( D, `: p- \, P; D3. Use the SWEPT comand to create the thread, helix is the guide curve and the sketch you created in step 2 is the section. the orientation method must be ” Vector Direction“ and the ZC Axis is the Vector.

Rotate the single thread 180 degree you can get a double thread, rotate the thread 120 degree twice you can get a triple thread. s' V2 L z( V6 V
