It is simple, You can build a special thread in UG, just using the HELIX and SWEPT command
! D4 m( x, U7 b9 o1. Create a helix by HELIX command (three important parameter: number of turns, pitch and radius)
9 }0 b) ?3 Y# s2. Then make a sketch at the start of helix( triangle,rectangle or trapezoid)* ^8 q, \( F" w% I- }1 T. e4 ~+ S! _1 c0 ~
3. Use the SWEPT comand to create the thread, helix is the guide curve and the sketch you created in step 2 is the section. the orientation method must be ” Vector Direction“ and the ZC Axis is the Vector.

! b; Y7 p, p, B) X6 {% nRotate the single thread 180 degree you can get a double thread, rotate the thread 120 degree twice you can get a triple thread.
