1. Create a helix by HELIX command (three important parameter: number of turns, pitch and radius): x9 a# u* j' U* c
2. Then make a sketch at the start of helix( triangle,rectangle or trapezoid)
/ ]6 ]/ O3 l# C9 \2 B- q9 n3. Use the SWEPT comand to create the thread, helix is the guide curve and the sketch you created in step 2 is the section. the orientation method must be ” Vector Direction“ and the ZC Axis is the Vector.) h5 t. \& f4 M1 a5 f
+ l$ h& t7 T& }Rotate the single thread 180 degree you can get a double thread, rotate the thread 120 degree twice you can get a triple thread.
